As I mentioned before I found this awesome
tutorial for a Mini Album on Pinterest not too long ago which was in French. But thanks to the marvels of technology my computer was able to translate for me. I just thought I would do my own to show the scoring step by step and of course for those that weren't able to interpret it.
For the album base you are going to need a;
12 x 12 piece of cardstock
Scoring tool like my Simply Scored Scoring tool sold by Stampin' Up! of course.
Lets begin!
First of all score your cardstock at 3 1/2", 3 5/8", 7 5/8", 7 7/8" & 11 3/4"
Turn your cardstock 90 degrees to the right and score at 4" and 8"
Keeping the cardstock in the same position, go back and score at 1 3/4", 2 1/8", 5 7/8", 6 1/8", 9 7/8" and 10 1/4" but only score down a third into your cardstock.
Again, keep your cardstock in the same position, go back and score at 3 3/4" and 8 1/4" but only on the 2nd third of the cardstock. (the middle row)
Cut out the extra bits as shown.
And your cardstock should now look like this.
Place adhesive over the tabs as shown. Fold the cardstock and adhere making sure to tuck the tabs under. You should now have a pocket.
Do the same thing with the smaller side pockets. I adhered the bottom end of the pocket as well to keep the tag from sliding through once the album was complete.
Your album should now look like this.
The two left pockets will fold in first, then the right, then the lower and the top will fold down.
Then the fun begins. The scrapbooking!
