Sneak Peek at the Holiday Catalog #1: #Elfie Diorama Card

Is it too early for Holiday stuff? I think not when the stuff is this stinkin' cute.
And I say every year that I am going to get an early start.
(I am still rarely done in time though, but hoping this year will be different.)

But how cute are these Elves?! I knew when I first saw them in the NEW Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog that they would be first on my list. They are from the NEW set called #Elfie and will be available for purchase when the Holiday Catalog goes live September 4th.

I stumbled across a tutorial on YouTube on how to make a Diorama Card. It folds flat and fits into an A2 envelope. Even with the layers, it's really not bulky at all!

I used Stampin' Blends to color the Elves, and some Wink of Stella on the snow slopes, gift, and ornament to add some sparkle. It's just super hard to see here in the photo.

Walrus in a Box

Animal stamp sets are pretty much my fave and these Walrus are no exception.
This is a regular old Card in a Box but with a few adjustments. I cut off the flap at the front and
a rectangle in the front to show off the little fishies that lived under the sea.
The box folds flat and fits in a regular size A2 envelope.

The Cows Are Back to SHAKE Things Up!

I am still not done playing with these cows.
I mean, how could ANYONE put them down for too long?
They can be used in so many different ways for all kinds of different techniques.

This time, I used them to make a Shaker Card.
The Grass was cut (haha.. get it?!) from the Wiggle Bugs Dies
if you are trying to figure out where they came from.

Bloom and Grow Forever

Does anyone else remember that line from the Sound of Music when they sang Edelweiss? Ok. Maybe just me. It's ok. You will still love this new Stamp and Die Bundle from Stampin' Up! called 'Bloom and Grow'. I just started playing with it yesterday and I am already hooked.

I love using the Stampin' Blends to color images. I used to avoid stamp sets that included images that needed to be colored because honestly, I sucked at it. Now I have a new lease on life.. and coloring

The following cards use all three of the larger flower designs showcasing the versatility of the set.

I can't decide which color combo I like best out of these two.

For the next card, I simply just stamped around the edges of the card using Memento Ink starting with the corners and then the sides.

This has more of a pastel feel. I love how well the colors work together as colors really are NOT my thing!

*Remember to use Memento Ink when coloring with Stampin' Blends otherwise your colors outline will run with the Stampin' Blends and there is nothing pretty about that!

Back on Your Feet

Yep. I am back to Z Fold Cards! They can be so quick and simple to make yet have a great WOW factor. I have a couple workmates out due to surgery and injury so this little guy will be perfect.

Sometimes I like to hide the message behind the fold so that you can only see it once fully opened. I’ve been having fun with the new brick embossing folder as well as the ‘Back on Your Feet’ Stamp Set. 🐢 💕
